Build Your Own Cornhole Boards

Easy and Budget Friendly

The Shop Works crew loves spring and summer weather.  We love camping and enjoying the outdoors.  For those who appreciate these things, you know that cornhole boards are absolutely essential for this lifestyle.  For those who are not familiar with cornhole boards, then this a great opportunity to try a game that is fun and very easy to play.  Plus, it is a great opportunity to make something your friends and family will certainly enjoy!

Most cornhole boards will cost you around $100 - $150.  These boards are generally unfinished and may not come with “bags” to play with.  Getting your hands on a pair of finished boards and bags will cost you around $180 - $200—on the low end.  We built our cornhole boards for around $50-$70, stained and painted.  Plus, we can design them however we want with whatever paint scheme we like.  The boards were the “sturdy” kind, so they are bit on the heavy side.  Of course, you can always lighten the materials to make a less heavy version—which are great for camping.
